AIDS Partnership Michigan is currently recruiting participants for a prevention intervention specifically targeted to the unique needs of HIV-infected individuals for men who have sex with men. The intervention consists of various peer-facilitated, group-level health education and skills enhancement worshops complemented by individual level prevention counseling. In addition to providing an opportunity for general HIV-related education and enhancement of risk reduction skills, the facilitator will promote and foster social support in a confidential, relaxed environment. Topics include routes of transmission, prevention strategies, communication skills, self-efficacy and attitudes relative to risk reduction behaviors. Space is limited.
