In the article "2 Pee in Peace" in the May 17 issue of Between The Lines, Knoll Larkin, formerly Lindsey Larkin, was incorrectly referred to as "she."
Mr. Larkin has transitioned from female to male and now lives full-time as a man.
Transgender individuals deserve to be treated with the same respect accorded other individuals, including being addressed by gender-appropriate pronouns.
BTL deeply regrets the error, and thanks Mr. Larkin and Carrie E. V. Copeland, chairperson of TransGender Michigan, for bringing it to our attention.
