Corvino, Stanton to debate April 18 at CMU

MOUNT PLEASANT – WSU Philosophy professor and BTL columnist John Corvino and Focus on the Family staffer Glenn Stanton will take their "civil debate" about equal marriage rights to Central Michigan University on April 18. The debate was originally scheduled for Feb. 16 but was rescheduled due to adverse weather.
The debate will take place at 7 p.m. in the Bovee University Center Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public.
In addition to his work at WSU and writing for BTL, Corvino is the editor of "Same Sex: Debating the Ethics, Science and Culture of Homosexuality.Ó He also is the author of numerous articles about morality, homosexuality and business ethics, among other topics, and has presented papers and delivered lectures throughout North America.
Stanton is Focus on the Family's senior marriage and sexuality analyst and director of global insight for cultural and family renewal the author of "Why Marriage Matters: Reasons to Believe in Marriage in Postmodern Society."
