Thank you for the inspiring and tender story of two very devoted, loyal and caring human brings sharing life together in your April 27, 2006 issue ("Staying Power: Local couple celebrates 50 years of love").
Fifty years together! How truly inspiring and warming. I am proud of them. How often among our gay community are couples devoted to one another for such a lovely long time?
As a 71-year-old gay person I feel I am richly blessed, thanks be to God who has brought me through all kinds of it, to be able to still wave and smile at life. My fervent wish is that everyone could be as our dear front cover friends are: happily committed. I wish them and our Between The Lines the happiest and best of life in the years ahead. Bless you both.
