Doug McIntosh was a friend of mine and I was honored to be one of his many Sweeties. He warmed my heart and made me dream that Detroit would be great again. I find myself in the past couple weeks just trying to imagine a world without him and it makes me so sad. He was a visionary and a generous spirit. I can only hope that our community will pick up where he left off and his dreams will become our reality. And to Scotty, we are there for you and hope you feel like leaning on us would be easy, for something as simple as a meal or just a hug.
