As part of Detroit's black gay pride festivities, EchoVerse Poetry and Slam Series will be hosting an event at 9 p.m. July 24.
The event, EchoVerse is Hotter Than July, will feature slam poet T-Miller, the award-winning All Kinds Of Poetry Open Mic and a $100 slam prize. The slam will be held at 1515 Broadway in Detroit. EchoVerse is an organization that regularly hosts poetry and slam competitions and entertainment around the Detroit area, including open mics and performances by the Detroit Slam Team.
Poets interested in competing may pre-register for the ten-slot slam by e-mailing a request to [email protected].
