The first-ever Pride of the Americas is a chance to hit the beach and join hundreds of thousands of individuals in bringing global attention to the inequalities LGBTQ communities faced in Latin America and the Caribbean. In partnership with Pride Fort Lauderdale, Pride, which will take place Tuesday, April 21, through Sunday, April 26, at locations across Greater Fort Lauderdale. 
People from 35 countries and two continents are expected to attend Pride, which will feature an opening ceremony, an LGBTQ Health and Wellness Conference, a travel symposium, a runway fashion show, conference and transgender summit. Plus, Pride will feature daily sunset concerts, a beach party and a parade.
No performers have been named to play the event yet, though entertainment on multiple stages is expected.
