Triangle Action Fund, along with the Human Rights Campaign and Michigan Equality are hosting four Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Rallies throughout Michigan. Other LGBT co-sponsors are: WRAP, Kalamazoo Alliance for Fairness and Equality (KAFE), Lansing Association for Human Rights (LAHR), and Coalition for Adoption Rights Equality (CARE). Allied co-sponsors of the rallies are: American Civil Liberties Union, Planned Parenthood, Michigan Citizen Action, EMILYÕs List, National Organization for Women (NOW) and One United Michigan.

THESE RALLIES ARE A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR THE LGBT COMMUNITY TO PROVIDE A VALUABLE SERVICE TO OTHER PROGRESSIVE ORGANIZATIONS IN THIS ELECTION SEASON. America Votes is an umbrella organization of many progressive groups, of which HRC is a national sponsor. These rallies come at a time when they are trying to fill over a thousand volunteer shifts over the four day period culminating in Election Day. Because of the timing of these rallies WE STAND TO MAKE A MAJOR IMPACT IN THIS ELECTION.
