BIRMINGHAM – Tired of the same-old, same-old when it comes to filling your holiday shopping list? The Birmingham-Bloomfield Art Center offers the creative solution with its annual Holiday Shop, an early-winter retail festival of sophisticated items from Dec. 1-17.
There is something unique for everyone on your list, even those who are hard to please, and a wide selection in 1,500 square feet of the BBAC's galleries. Over 150 artists' work, including jewelry, ceramics and home art, will be on display and prices start at $10.
"The Holiday Shop committee has spent the past year looking at the latest gift trends and searching throughout the country for new and exciting items," said Jane Linn, BBAC executive director, in a statement. "In keeping with the BBAC's status as a regional art center, everything in the shop is created by artists. Adding value is the fact that a portion of every single purchase supports our community and educational programming throughout the year."
The Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center is a regional art center committed to promoting the visual arts with classes for all ages and levels, art camps, five galleries with free exhibits, special events, and a retail gallery shop.
