Johnson and Price wed

Detroit couple Kalimah Johnson and Keisha Price exchanged vows at their wedding Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005. The wedding was held at Johnson's sister's home in Detroit's Boston Edison district. Judge B. Pennie Millender of Michigan's 36th District Court and Rev. Hattie Alexander-Robinson of New Covenant Ministries in Detroit officiated. Both are friends of the couple. Johnson said 120 friends and family attended the event.
When asked how she felt following her wedding, Johnson said, "Great! I feel really happy and affirmed."
"We're just thankful to our friends and our family," she added.
Johnson and Price, who have been together three years, left Tuesday for Niagara Falls to take their honeymoon.
