Kathy Griffin sounds off
Somehow the saying, "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all," didn't bleed into Kathy Griffin's brain. That would explain a lot. Like the banning of Hollywood's D-list comedian from a mess of talk shows. A long list of PO'd people. And a hit Bravo reality show.
On her return to "The View."
"I was nervous as hell."
On Oprah Winfrey.
"The great thing about Oprah is I really feel I can kind of say anything cause she's really untouchable. There's nothing I or anyone else can say that would ever damage her plus I have no desire to damager her. But she's sort of a great subject for me because everyone knows what I'm talking about, everyone watches the show whether they admit it or not and yet she's so huge, that you know, does she give a shit about what I say about her? Not at all.
On the Andy Dick drama.
"I love him. He's an old friend. It's so funny. I really didn't know he was upset by what I said."
On Lance Bass.
"Someone put something on my Web site on my message board. Someone posted a picture of me and Lance Bass kissing and they wrote the funniest caption. They wrote, 'This is precisely the moment that Kathy Griffin turned Lance Bass gay.'"
