The Michigan Democratic Party’s LGBT Caucus has released more details about the busses they will be sending to the National Equality March in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 11.
The event, hosted by Equality Across America, aims to mobilize the grassroots LGBT and allied population in all 435 districts across the United States to push legislators to introduce and support equal rights legislation.
The caucus will be sending up to four busses and tickets are $60 per person, which does not include room and board. The busses will leave on the night of Oct. 9 and return the morning of Oct. 12. The march itself will take place from 12-5 p.m. Oct. 11.
