On Feb. 7, metro Detroiters can enjoy a top-notch Italian meal, watch the Superbowl with friends on big-screen TVs – and raise money for a worthy cause.
From 6-midnight on Superbowl Sunday, Detroit restaurant Angelina Italian Bistro will be holding a fundraiser for the Michigan AIDS Coalition. For every person who walks in the door that evening, MAC will get $5, plus 50 cents from every drink sold.
Ericia Bartels, who also participates with MAC’s annual Artworks for Life fundraiser, is co-owner of the restaurant, which makes all of its ingredients from scratch. Cover for the evening is $10, which includes appetizers, dancing, drink specials and hourly door prizes.
And, as an added incentive, Angelina’s has offered to donate a dinner for two certificate as one of the many items that will be drawn that evening in the raffles.
