In response to Proposal 2 and other recent discriminatory legislation targeting the LGBT community, the Project YES Players and Eastern Michigan University students are holding a march for equal rights. The purpose of the march is to be visible, to take action against discrimination, and to show support for the equality of all. The march will take place Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004 outside of the McKenny Union at Eastern Michigan University. Meet up is at 12:15 p.m. and the march will take place from 12:30 to 1 p.m. McKenny Union is located on the campus of Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti.
