Merged organization looks for new name

What's in a name? The new organization created out of a merger between the Triangle Foundation and Michigan Equality is looking to find out.
Two contenders have been chosen by the group – Great Lakes Equality and Equality Michigan – and they want to get input from Michigan's LGBT community on which name and logo to choose for their new look.
A survey for choosing both the name and logo, as well as answering a few more questions pertaining to the future of the organization, has been created and disseminated throughout Michigan's gay community. The questions focus on community and organizational affiliations, priorities for equality and thoughts on the merger.
"The new organization is eager to hear your opinion," they wrote in a recent statement. "While we'll stay on point with the existing missions of both organizations, we need to know what you want us to do.

"Our future is dedicated to you and our community. Open dialogue is the key to our success."
