Michigan Newspapers policy on same-sex announcements

In Michigan, there is still a ways to go before all daily newspapers offer LGBT couples equal opportunities to print engagement and wedding announcements. Below are two lists – one of papers that are inclusive and one of papers that are not. These lists are derived from GLAAD’s 2006 Announcing Equality survey. An updated list will be available in the coming months. Watch for upcoming coverage of the new statistics in a future issue of Between The Lines.
