June 11 & 12, State Capitol, Lansing

Friday, June 11:
Absolut(tm) Pride Comedy Show
Featuring Vickie Shaw and The B-Girlz at 9 p.m. plus a Casino Lounge starting at 7 p.m. with Tracy Mack of Ann Arbor and Lansing’s own Kate Pederson! A DJ & Dancing will end the night after the show. You won’t want to miss this one! Tickets are only $20 at the door or in advance. Funds raised will benefit Michigan Pride.

Saturday, June 12:

10 a.m.: Pride Festival Opens; Suggested donation is $5 at the gate. Riverfront Park
11 a.m.: Remember Our Names, a memorial for Michigan citizens who have died from AIDS. For more information, contact Sarah Mieras at 517-371-8466, or Audrey at the Lansing Area AIDS Network: 517-394-3719, ext. 28.
12 p.m.: Float & March Line-Up

Riverfront Park @ Grand Avenue
1 p.m.: March Step Off for the Capitol Steps; Riverfront Park, Corner of Grand and Shiawassee
2 p.m.: Capitol Steps Rally for LGBT Civil Rights; Michigan’s Capitol Steps, located at the corner of Capitol and Allegan
3 p.m.: Capitol Commitment Ceremony; Michigan’s Capitol Steps, located at the corner of Capitol and Allegan

3-8 p.m.: Miller Lite Festival Stage featuring:

8 p.m.: Pride Festival Closes
8-9 p.m.: Pride Downtime
Enjoy yourself at a venue of your choice while we close down the festival and prepare for a night of dancing.
9 p.m. – 1 a.m.: Dancing in the Streets
Join Michigan Pride for the hottest after Pride Party in Lansing! Located on the corner of Grand River Ave. and Turner Street in Lansing’s Old Town. Dance the night away with DJ Rob of Tradewinds in Kalamazoo, who recently moved to Michigan from New York, bringing with him all of the hottest sounds. Rumor has it you will also be able to catch fireworks at dusk from the stadium nearby! FREE admission to anyone over 18 with proper ID; two drink minimum.
