Dear BTL,
I thought Gwen Araujo’s story was extremely powerful and moving. I found myself in tears during the last half of “A Girl Like Me” and I felt that the characters were real. I think all of the actors did a great job in their roles. I do not think that Jason Michael’s critique of J.D. Pardo was correct, because I felt a connection to the character, which is not always a simple thing to portray in a movie. I thought this movie was excellent and I hope it brings understanding to many judgmental people.
