Dear BTL,
I just finished watching "A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story," on Lifetime Television. I was very anxious to watch this film because I remember watching the news one day and learning about the death of Gwen. It was very shocking and left me breathless to hear what happened to this young girl. I couldn't believe it. After watching the story about Gwen it touched me in my heart. I feel for her family and friends and give them my prayers. I am doing some more research on Gwen cause I have been touched by her spirit. I have a gay brother and I have known about his sexuality since I was a little girl and am not surprised about who he is and what he has become. I support my brother though I do get scared because the world can be a cruel place. I give Gwen's family my blessing and hope to actually meet them in person. Much love and prayers,
