Night at Flint's Sloan Museum

Fans of Flint's Sloan Museum likely know it best for its regional exhibits. Visitors can see everything from classic cars, to hundreds of unique-to-Michigan artifacts, and now they are invited to participate in a 'Night at the Musuem'-style party. In the theme of "All That Glitters," guests will get to enjoy a themed celebration while raising funds for the organization.
"Enjoy a sparkling evening with dancing and live music by Still Rain Band. Great food by Redwood Steakhouse and a special welcome drink are included," write event organizers. "Place a bid on one of four special live auction items, and check out our silent auction items as well!"
The event is sponsored by a variety of local organizations like McLaren Health Plan and Auto-Owners Insurance. Attendees are encouraged to find out more about the event on its Facebook page.
It will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29 from 7 to 11 p.m. inside the museum which is located at 1221 E. Kearsley St., in Flint. Tickets are available for $100 each.
