Gay Pride Day in Ferndale is an embarrassment to any gay person, male or female, who is trying to prove to their family and friends that not all gays are a bunch of freaks. Not every gay and lesbian feels the need to march in a parade and behave as if every day on Earth is an excuse to behave like an idiot just because they're different. People like you and your "Between the Lies" weekly rag helps perpetuate this nonsense and feed the myth that all gays are obsessed with their own sexuality. And in case you're wondering, yes, I'm gay. I have a journalism degree and I know what spin is, and your weekly rag is no better than anything the bobble heads over at FOX news are spewing from their media pulpits. Spin is spin, no matter who is putting it out there.
I'm smart enough to know that the issues facing the world in the coming election are a lot bigger than the poor gays and lesbians not being able to get married. Every election is not about us. You lefty queers bring it on yourselves with your whining. Gays and Lesbians have it really good in this country. You're just too stubborn to see it. Then again, if you bothered to investigate mainstream gays who just live their lives and mind their own business, that wouldn't make for good copy now, would it?
