The lunar nodes indicate an axis between easy, habitual behavior and more productive growth. Mars in Taurus is harmonizing with them, helping to apply energy productively toward the more mature north node. It can also illuminate patterns that may feel comfy, but hold you back.

ARIES (March 20 – April 19): As important as work, health, and mundane issues are, they can also be a retreat from deeper, more spiritual questions. Set aside some money for a special, impulsive indulgence. What you spend it on and why will illuminate your priorities and needs.

TAURUS (April 20 – May 20): Fun and games offer their own rewards; better yet, they help you clear your intuition to get better ideas about your long-range goals. Assert yourself clearly and consistently where it counts. This is no time to be timid!

GEMINI (May 21 – June 20): Housekeeping is really a distraction from more important work – at least this week! Take time to meditate and think about what practical measures you need to take to promote yourself. If you can balance practical action with intuition, you’ll have it made!

CANCER (June 21- July 22): Take the long view, and let the details work themselves out. That may seem risky, as your philosophical framework looks more impressionistic than pragmatic. But if you work on plans and goals with like-minded friends, all will come clear.

LEO (July 23 – August 22): Your reputation doesn’t need any promotion, but don’t let that stop you! Highlighting your professional competence will help you get ahead and will also make you more sexually irresistible.

VIRGO (August 23 – September 22): Pursuing new ideas and experiences is a great way to improve yourself. But more important, it can open you to being more approachable to others. Welcome new perspectives from your current partner or a new one.

LIBRA (September 23 – October 22): Figuring out priorities is especially challenging. Even if sex seems more an indulgent distraction than a productive mission, it will still help you get clear about whatever needs to be done. And once you take care of that, the answers will be simple and practical

SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21): Enjoy play for its own sake. Having fun need not tie in with goals or skills development, and a game can still be fun even if you don’t win. Your partner should be very glad to help you with that!

SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 20): Working for the betterment of your career is simple and obvious. Look beyond that to how your work and career could ultimately benefit your home and your old age. A little work around the house may help pull that together.

CAPRICORN (December 21 – January 19): Don’t get hung up on philosophical ramifications. Focus on basic ideas, and work from the intellectual ground up. Pragmatic creativity or sensual play will help you to balance focus and intuition.

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 18): Erotic pleasures make a much-too-welcome distraction from the more important tasks at hand. Spacing out on priorities? Housework will help you get grounded. A conversation with mom can help…even – or especially – if it includes an argument.

PISCES (February 19 – March 19): Go ahead and be selfish. You do so much for other people; do you always remember to take care of yourself? Speak up for yourself! You may have to assert yourself firmly to get what you need and deserve. Don’t be shy!
