Growing Up Artfully: a fundraiser to bring the arts, history and sciences to Genesee county youth

On June 2, The Flint Cultural Center Corporation with host a fundraiser called "Growing Up Artfully" to support programs at the Flint Youth Theatre, Longway Planetarium, Sloan Museum and The Whiting.
Ticket prices range from $75 for one ticket to $1,000 for six.
Event proceeds will support initiatives including free admission for low-income families to Flint cultural programs, subsidized bussing for school groups to attend Flint Youth Theatre performances, and scholarships for low-income students to attend Flint Youth Theatre's Drama School.
Growing Up Artfully will be held at the home of Dr. Fred Armenti at 2541 Parkside Drive in Flint from 5:30-7:30 p.m. For more information, to purchase tickets or to make a contribution, call 810-237-7379.
