Royal Oak Summer Concert Starts on July 5

Live music fans can rejoice, Royal Oak is putting the finishing touches on planning for its 2018 Summer Concert Series at the 'pop-up park' on the city's Center Street. Starting on July 5, Royal Oak will have ready six consecutive Thursdays that are chock-full of musical genres from rock to pop to funk.
The concerts will result in the closure of Center Street from the corner of 4th Street to 3rd. Interested show-goers can visit romi.gov for more information on the event or call 248-246-3204.

July 5
6 p.m. – Pre-Show with The Detroit School of Rock and Pop Music
7 p.m. – Popsicle Plus (Kids Music)
8 p.m. – The Satellites (Soul meets Latin) 8 p.m.

July 12
6 p.m. – Pre-Show with The Detroit School of Rock and Pop Music
7 p.m. – Dave Hamilton Band (Funky Prog. Rock)
8 p.m. – The Orbitsuns (Low Down Outlaw Country)

July 19
6 p.m. – Pre-Show with The Detroit School of Rock and Pop Music
7 p.m. – Detroit Soul Rhythm (Detroit Soul)
8 p.m. – The Corktown Popes (Irish-American Rock)

July 26
6 p.m. – Pre-Show with The Detroit School of Rock and Pop Music

8 p.m. – Devin Scillian (Americana)
