Anyone familiar with the Brad Pitt thriller "Seven" – a twisted, ritualistic murder mystery where a crazy bases his killings on the seven deadly sins – knows the film's finale boasts a gasp-inducing beheading.
Inspired by the film, ManHunt.net's 40-date "7 Sexy Sins Tour," which launches during "Porn @ the Pool" on May 24 at The Dunes Resort in Saugatuck and then wraps in September with Grand Rapids and Saginaw stops, will have – we're told – a happier climax.
"Maybe some head," Rob Reimer, senior marketing manager at http://www.ManHunt.net, says, "but not any beheadings."
Instead, there'll be goodie bags (filled with porn, "cum towels," and special "Kill Sins On Contact" towelettes for those dirty deeds), door prizes and, at the Saugatuck gig, an appearance by The Jarics, a Falcon Studio couple.
"We're gonna push the envelope as far as we can," says Reimer, who's marketed similar parties for http://www.Gay.com and Unzipped magazine.
A behind-the-scenes video, which'll show the models' steamy New York photo shoot snapped by magazine photographer Joe Oppedisano, will loop at all the events. To illustrate the seven "sexy sins" – fellatio, rimming, masturbation, voyeurism, bondage, sodomy and orgy – the photographed guys suggestively, and sometimes blantantly, act out each.
Reimer, who worked for porn director Chi Chi LaRue before taking the Boston-based job for http://www.ManHunt.net, was asked to develop a U.S. tour much like the social-networking site's first-time one in Europe last year. But that was back in August – nearly a year ago.
His vision for the tour was dark and gritty, and it was determined early on that the number seven would play into the title to celebrate ManHunt's seventh anniversary. "How?" was the tougher question.
"We just didn't like what we were coming up with," he says, dropping canned titles like "7-Year Itch" and "777." A contest among 15 marketing representatives around the U.S. and Canada helped http://www.ManHunt.net come up with "7 Sexy Sins."
And in some cities – not Michigan, sadly – horny guys can see these sexy sins come to life as live sex shows will be performed at select shows.
"There's actually gonna be some of the sins happening," he says, before laughing, " – depending on the local laws."
