On Friday, Oct. 26, fans of all forms of storytelling can mark their calendars to see Snap Judgment LIVE. Hosted by Detroit’s own Glynn Washington, the show has been running on NPR stations for five years now and is available in podcast form. Each hour-long episode is heard weekly on nearly 400 radio stations nationally and downloaded more than 2 million times a month. The radio program features a unique collection of tales from every walk of life, and live it is no different.
“Snap delivers a raw, intimate, musical brand of narrative — daring audiences to see the world through the eyes of another. Snap Judgment LIVE features the world’s finest storytellers, on stage, backed by (the) Snap Judgment band,” said event organizers. “We ask Snap storytellers to dig deep, and marvel as they create magic. Snap Judgment crafts powerful multi-platform experiences (radio, stage, screen, web) that deliver raw, intimate narratives — giving audiences a glimpse into the lives of a stranger.”
Tickets for the all ages-friendly show start at $39.50. More information can be found online at royaloakmusictheatre.com.
