On Wednesday, April 29, constituents are invited to a Zoom video chat for a 30-minute conversation with State Rep. Jon Hoadley. Hoadley is running for U.S. Congress in Michigan’s 6th congressional district. Listeners can learn about Hoadley’s strategies and plans for his candidacy and for the November 2020 election as well as take the opportunity to ask him questions.

“I’m running for Congress because it’s time we put people and community back at the center of our decisions. It’s time we face the future and our country’s challenges head-on with fresh ideas,” Hoadley said in a press release.

Two chats will be held, one at 3 p.m. and one at 7 p.m. The first chat will include Democracy for America CEO Yvette Simpson, and the second chat will include Victory Fund CEO Annise Parker.

Among Hoadley’s other goals, he lists three priorities for his Congressional campaign: “booting out” Mitch McConnell,  Trump and “his cronies,” and helping to create “victories for Democrats locally and nationally.”
