Metro Detroit AIDS organization Steppin’ Out, in collaboration with hip clothing chain Banana Republic, is holding a charity shopping event 12-6 p.m. on April 26. The event will take place at Banana Republic Somerset Collection, at 2800 West Big Beaver Road in Troy.
Leading up to April 26, any donation of $10 or more to Steppin’ Out will reward donors with a 25-percent off coupon at Somerset’s Banana Republic story during the specified times. All donations will help those living with HIV/AIDS in the metro Detroit area, and will be matched by Banana Republic and the Gap Foundation up to $50,000.
Coupons may not be used on previous purchases, gift card purchases, or at any other Banana Republic story.
All are welcome to attend. An RSVP to the event is requested, but not required. To RSVP, or to learn more, call Steppin’ Out at 248-399-9255 or e-mail Alyssa Johnson at info@aidswalkdetroit.org.
