Stronger community

Dear BTL,
Hello Community. I sincerely hope that you all are taking good care of yourselves and each other after Election 2004. I know that many of us have strong feelings about what just happened, from the passage of 11 anti-civil marriage equality amendments across our country to the election of many politicians who do not support us as a community, as individuals, or as couples.
I hope that in these difficult days ahead that we will create an even stronger LGBT community of love, support, and justice. I hope that we will never acquiesce to hate, intolerance, or bigotry. We are right to pursue our civil rights in their entirety and, like our foreparents before us, we must persevere. Eventually, we will prevail because we are right and because we have goodness, justice, and love on our side.
