DETROIT – On Dec. 3 the Detroit Hispanic Development Corporation, or Salud, will present "The Red Party" at The Works. This year's theme is "December Meltdown."
Proceeds from the annual fundraiser, which is named in honor of the Red Ribbon of Awareness are used to boost funds for DHDC's HIV prevention programs. DHDC is the only non-profit in Southeastern Michigan funded by the State of Michigan's Department of Community Health HIV/AIDS Prevention and Intervention Section as well as directly by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention specifically to address HIV concerns in the Latino/a community.
The Works is located at the corner of Michigan Ave. and Rosa Parks Blvd. in Detroit. Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door. For more information or to purchase tickets contact Ray Magdaleno by phone at 313-967-4880, ext. 103 or 734-578-4715 or email [email protected].
