As the National LGBTQ Task Force's annual Creating Change conference moves into Detroit this week, more than 3,500 participants will have the opportunity to explore the Motor City.
Detroit is booming with activity and change, including tried-and-true hot spots for every gender identity, age and interest. And like many other big cities that have grown to embrace a more advanced and open attitude towards LGBTQ people, most of the establishments in and around downtown Detroit welcome all customers – including LGBTQ revelers.
There is so much to enjoy and be inspired by in the largest city in the midwestern state of Michigan. Here is a list of some of the cool things to do in Detroit right now.
