TransGender Michigan to hold speakers bureau training

On Saturday, April 2, TransGender Michigan will hold a training for its speaker's bureau courtesy of funding provided through an Arcus Foundation grant.
Participants will be trained to educate others about transgender identity issues and issues related to the transgender community. The training will take place in Detroit from 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
According to the organization's notice about the event, "TransGender Michigan is committed to representing the diversity in our community; therefore, people of color, people with disabilities, FTMs, genderqueer individuals, crossdressers, significant others, friends, family members and allies are especially encouraged to be involved."
