U.S. Rep. Joe Knollenberg on YouTube

Cheif of Staff Wisecup blows up on camera
ROCHESTER – Within 48 hours of being taped and loaded onto YouTube, U.S. Rep. Joe Knollenberg (R-9th District) attracted over 23,000 viewers. He was caught on tape evading questions about his votes on the Iraq war and legislation he vetoed that would have expanded health care protections for children. It is believed that over 80,000 children in Michigan would be impacted by the new expanded legislation and millions more are believed to be impacted nationwide.
Knollenberg's Chief of Staff, Trent Wisecup, told the videographer that he was "bullying our staff" and accussed him of "harassment". As the four minute tape proceeded, Wisecup grew angrier and told the videographer he "would wind up in the slammer" and that he was "not a citizen, you are a political hack".
When the videographer pressed for Knollenberg to respond directly to his questions, Wisecup yelled back, "I'm speaking for Joe because I am his Chief of Staff and he doesn't dignify you by talking to you, because he has more important things to do."
