Be Well Medical Center was founded in 1980 by Dr. Paul Benson as the first dedicated LGBTQ+ primary care health center in the Detroit area. We are committed to delivering high-quality, personalized care, with a strong focus on HIV treatment and prevention, including PrEP.Dr. Benson has served as a principal investigator in over 200 HIV and PrEP clinical trials and has contributed to the development of many of the HIV medications available today. Most of our providers are certified HIV specialists through the American Academy of HIV Medicine.Our collaborative team approach ensures that every patient receives comprehensive, expert, and compassionate care.
