Damon "Magic" Percy

Damon “Magic” Percy, a Native Detroiter, is an author, community activist, filmmaker, cultural critic and historical archivist. Currently, he is the President of Detroit’s Black Bear Brotherhood, a social organization geared towards plus size men of color and their allies, a board member of Detroit Sound Conservancy, a musical historical preservation society. Percy believes that everyone has a voice and all stories must be shared for generations to come.
