Kelli Slezak joins AFSC staff

ANN ARBOR – The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues Program of the American Friends Service Committee in Michigan has announced the hiring of a new halftime Program Associate.
Kelli Slezak will work with the program director, Kate Runyon. Slezak graduated in 2004 from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio with a B.A. in English/Creative Writing and specializing in poetry and a minor in WomenÕs Studies and Sociology, during which time she was president of her student activist group.
Slezak also served as the National Committee Coordinator for Student Environment Action Coalition.
Slezak will focus her time planning the Together In Faith Collaborative Training weekend for the organizationÕs Faith Action Network Circles and continue to develop the organizationÕs relationships with progressive people of faith.
