New board leadership takes the helm at WRAP

ANN ARBOR – The Washtenaw Rainbow Action Project's newly elected board leadership has taken the helm, ensuring the resource center will seamlessly continue to provide advocacy for and quality services to the local LGBT community.
"This is an exciting transition for WRAP," said new board President Michael G. McGuire. "I look forward to continuing WRAP's strong tradition of service, and to expanding our projects and programs."
Former President Jeremy Merklinger was elected vice president, while Barry MacDougall was chosen as treasurer. The board voted in December; the changes took effect Jan. 1.
"Jeremy's elected as vice president will ensure continuity in our leadership and vision," McGuire said. "He, Barry and I share a commitment to the LGBT community and to making WRAP an even better resource in the coming year."
