Welcome to Detroit: NBJC gets warm reception

FERNDALE – The Detroit Welcome Reception and Spiritual Strengthening Event for the National Black Justice Coalition had over 150 people Sunday night. Held at MCC Detroit, libations were offered by Atiba Seitu, Dr. Renee McCoy spoke and the benediction was done by Rev. Darlene C.A. Franklin.
The NBJC and the Detroit LGBT community are participating in the 98th NAACP Convention.
