The Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund in Washington D.C. announced it has endorsed a dozen new candidates for races in 2007 and 2008 including two from Michigan.
The Michigan endorsements are Thomas Zerafa for Mayor of Oak Park and Craig Covey for Mayor of Ferndale.
The Victory Fund is also urging its members to support these campaigns with financial contributions through its website at www.victoryfund.org.

The Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund is the only national organization dedicated to increasing the number of openly lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender elected officials at all levels of government. The nation's largest LGBT political action committee, the Victory Fund has helped grow the number of out officials from 49 to more than 380 since its founding in 1991.
