FERNDALE – The Covey campaign for mayor of Ferndale is preparing to enter "high gear" with literature drops every weekend until the election.
Folks willing to drop literature at Ferndale homes can contact the campaign through www.coveyformayor.com. Volunteers may drop the literature at any time convenient for them during the next week.
A map and literature for distribution will be provided.
The campaign is getting new lawn sign requests daily and volunteers are also needed to help put these up.
"Friends of Craig Covey" and Dino's Lounge will host a "Friend-raiser" and party on Thursday, Oct. 18 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Dino's Lounge is located in downtown Ferndale at 22740 Woodward Ave. A $30 donation is suggested and no RSVP is necessary.
