Salesmen, love and silence take the stage Thursdays at Go Comedy!

FERNDALE
Go Comedy! Improv Theater is set to premier two original comedies on July 9, "Travel Earth Time Shares" and "Silent," which both join the critically acclaimed comedy "Love & Other Urban Legends."
"Travel Earth Time Shares," written and performed by Go Comedy! resident company member Garrett Fuller and Jeremy Conn (both of Garden City), plays at 8 p.m. Thursday nights. The one-act play follows Dale Thompson and Russ Brandis – best friends and sales partners. Their jobs and their friendship are put to the test when their employer, Travel Earth Timeshares, starts to feel the effects of the failing economy. Directed by Tommy and Michelle LeRoy (Ferndale), the show has an open-ended run.
"Love and Other Urban Legends," a revue-style comedy that tackles how dating, love and relationships affect our lives in the funniest of ways, moves to 9 p.m. Thursdays. The show has been written through improvisation by Go Comedy! resident cast members Anne Faba (Clinton Township) and Suzan Gouine (Ferndale), with Marke Sobolewski (Allen Park) and direction by Tommy and Michelle LeRoy (Ferndale).
"Silent," a one-act comedy performed by Go Comedy! resident stage manager Peter Jacokes (Ferndale), proves that one man without words can be worth a million laughs. Directed by Pj Jacokes (Ferndale), "Silent" also has an open-ended run.
Tickets ($10) are available by calling 248-327-0575 or in person at the Go Comedy! box office beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday.
Go Comedy! Improv Theater is located at 261 East Nine Mile Road in Ferndale. For more information, visit http://www.gocomedy.net.
