The Traverse City area is filled with wonderful wineries. Come get a taste of what they have to offer at the Traverse City Wine and Art Festival from 5-10 p.m. Aug. 22.
Sponsored by the city's Artcenter, the inaugural festival will celebrate food, wine and culture of northwest Michigan and feature wines from 22 wineries from the Leelanau and Old Mission Peninsulas, plus foods and desserts from area restaurants.
The festival is open to guests ages 21 and older only and will be held at the Grand Traverse Commons in downtown Traverse City.
