Equality Michigan Pride PAC announces additional endorsements

DETROIT- On Monday Equality Michigan Pride PAC "Nominate a Pro-Equality Candidate" campaign announced the endorsement of three additional candidates for office this November.
Earlier in the month, Equality Michigan Pride PAC endorsed 16 pro-equality candidates who are running for office in local municipal elections across the state this year.
"There was so much buzz surrounding our Pro-Equality Candidate Campaign endorsements that several more people contacted us to request they be considered too," said Amy Hunter, the group's president. "We felt that a second round of endorsements was in order. These three outstanding candidates have been evaluated using the same exacting standards we apply to all of our endorsements and we are proud to add them to our 2011 slate."
The three additional pro-equality candidates endorsed by the Equality Michigan Pride PAC are:
Jim Carruthers (Traverse City City Commission)
David Anderson (Kalamazoo City Commission)
Scott Craig (Northville Public Schools Board of Education)
