Texas Values President Loses Wife

BTL Staff

TEXAS – President of Texas Values, a large anti-gay group in Texas, Jonathan Saenz is known for his opposition of gay rights, his anti-abortion stance and his defense for conservatives to have the right to force their religion on other people. But Saenz never made anti-gay activism a big part of his career benchmark until 2012.

What caused his sudden interest in opposing gay rights?

Court documents recently revealed that his now ex-wife left him in 2011 for another woman.

Since he started focusing his attention on his ex spouse and her new community Saenz has endorsed gay conversion therapy, claimed that same-sex marriage will lead to polygamy and people marrying their step-children, suggested that the LGBT community wants to put Christians into concentration camps and strongly opposes nondiscrimination ordinances in San Antonio and Houston.
