Ferndale Pride has just released a press release announcing their plans for this year's event.
Downtown Ferndale will host its annual Ferndale Pride for the LGBTQA community on Saturday, May 30 along W. Nine Mile Road. Many related events and activities will accompany the festival throughout the week. Such events include the Rainbow 5k Walk/Run, drag shows, multiple club and bar events, patio parties, dinners, art shows and many others. Ferndale Pride is expected to attract between 12,000 to 15,000 people during the week's festivities.
Sponsorship opportunities give organizations and businesses the chance to promote themselves as well as support the LGBTQA and Ferndale communities. Participants can be a part of the vibrancy and diversity that the city is known for. Sponsors to date include MotorCity Casino Hotel, Ferndale Chamber of Commerce, Ferndale DDA, Ferndale Community Foundation, Affirmations Community Center, Michigan AIDS Coalition and more.
