Polling for the March 8 Presidential primaries in Michigan are putting former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on top of the Democratic race and millionaire reality television star Donald J. Trump on top of the GOP race.
"I think we could be in for an early night on March 8. Donald Trump has posted huge leads in Michigan polls for the last month, and looks on track to win the GOP primary," Susan Demas, editor of Inside Michigan Politics, tells BTL. "For the Dems, Hillary Clinton has been trouncing Bernie Sanders by double digits in recent polls, and should easily win next Tuesday."
TJ Bulcholz, a political strategist who runs Vanguard Public Affairs, said the primary in Michigan will be "a yawner."
"So, it's Trump and Clinton FTW in Michigan," he wrote in a post on his company's website this week. "A yawner."
