FERNDALE – Affirmations Lesbian and Gay Community Center's board of directors is now accepting letters of intent from those individuals interested in running for election to the board. Election to the Board will take place at the organization's annual meeting on May 24.
Those individuals interested in running for a three-year term should submit a letter of intent to Ken Rosen, board president. The letter must be received by 5 p.m. on April 14.
Affirmations' bylaws require that candidates for election to the board be a member of Affirmations 60 days prior to the election. For more information, including requirements for the letter of intent and becoming a member, visit Go Affirmations or call 248-398-7105.
