Asians & Friends hosts tsunami relief benefit for Habitat for Humanity International

FERNDALE – Asians & Friends, a social support group founded in 1998 for gay/bisexual Asian men and their friends, is hosting a tsunami relief fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity at SoHo on Friday, Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. Nami Sushi Bar will provide appetizers for the event. Attendees who make a donation at SoHo will receive a free pass to Q Nightclub, which is also on West Nine Mile Rd. in downtown Ferndale.
As many as five million people are still displaced and in need of basic services as a result of the tsunami that struck Southeast Asia on Dec. 26, 2004. All proceeds will go to Habitat for Humanity International.
