BTL joins MPA

On Jan. 27, 2005 Between The Lines became a member of the Michigan Press Association, the professional organization for Michigan newspapers and the journalists who write for them. BTL joins three hundred daily and weekly newspaper members and sixty associate members in the one hundred thirty-six year old organization that is dedicated both to protecting the interests and to improving the quality of Michigan newspapers.
"We are delighted and honored to be invited into the Michigan Press Association," said Jan Stevenson, co-publisher of Between The Lines. "We are especially pleased that the MPA has shown its appreciation of the LGBT community by including Between The Lines in the MPA's membership."
