All those biatches who think it's cool to text message break-up: Listen up!
Drag queen Kelly (played by comic actor Liam Sullivan), who mixes electronic beats with quirky, hardcore lyrics, ain't dealin' with that shit. And you betta believe it. The "Shoes" singer introduces several spankin' new catchphrases on the uproarious single "Text-Message Break-Up" (http://www.myspace.com/kellylikesshoes) sure to take off faster than two twinks' clothing at a bathhouse (OK, maybe not quite as fast).
It's safe to assume that the masterpiece-in-the-making line "Get a clue! I'll go Alanis Morissette on you!" is a take on the pre-rage rocker's rant about her ex on the '90s hit "You Oughta Know." And, like Alanis, Kelly's not frontin'.
"I'm pissed like President Bush would be in a Gay Parade in Texas," she sings — or screams — depending on how you look at it. As Kelly ridicules her ex, queer-favorite and her feisty friend Margaret Cho makes a name-calling cameo.
Kelly gathers her hoard of girlfriends, including Cho, who all blast her ex√ïs ass. She stalks him at a club, a roller rink and, um, in the shower — where he likes tickling his own ass. With threats of blogging, posting and hoaxing their text message break-up, this chic√ïs hardcore fo sho. For those who miss the PO'ed Alanis, her twin-separated-at-birth has risen — again.
Her name: Kelly.
